Been trying to get this to work with no success. Is the software compatible with Windows 7?

I have purchased the Ion Profile Pro, when you are installing the software to your computer there are two options, I don't remember what the first selection was ( I picked it) and the second option is to install the Audacity Version, which I did not select. Once you select the fist version you can not change it to the Audacity version. I have written to Ion but did not get a response back yet. If any one know how to add the Audacity version please let us know.

I purchased an ION Contour LP with Mixmeister software from Maplin this week and have not been successful yet, after many attempts, to copy a record to my hard drive.
I am not a novice, and when following the instructions proved a waste of time, I thought I would go to Googlr and see if anyone else had met with the same confusion.
I think the comments I found can be doing little to improve Mixmeister's sales.
One thing I did find was an improvement in performance from someone who downloaded an upgrade for his software.
I would appreciate some information about this possibility to convince me I have not wasted my money.
